Brace Lake is located on the Albany watershed and is just under a 50-mile flight out of Nakina. Brace Lake offers the best of both worlds for the well-rounded angler. You have the opportunity to fish a river system or fish the 225 miles of shoreline, which offers endless opportunity and adventure. You can also access Meta and Ara Lake which both offer fantastic fishing.
Brace is a tea stained colored water (Walleye Wine), which boasts a large population of Walleye, Perch and Monster Pike. Some refer to it as the "Gator Factory!" You can be sure that you will have the opportunity to hook on to one of these Monsters. The Walleye and Perch are so plentiful that it will keep you going all day long. You will not get tired or bored catching these guys. And just when you think that you have seen enough, one of those Monster Northens will latch on and you will be hooked!!!
Trophy Rule:
Large fish are genetically superior, to keep this world class fishery sustainable, we ask that all Northerns over 40 inches are released and Walleyes over 24 inches are released back to the waters to maintain the fishery for generations to come.
And if angling is not what you are looking for, we also offer world-class hunts for Black Bear, Moose, and Wolves. Our Archery Guided Moose hunts are at 100% success rate, if you want to hunt one of the most majestic animals, than this is the place for you!
